A Mantra for Health Care
I am my own healer. I have a radiant voice within that guides me. I can make decisions for myself. I can rely on others as needed, but at my discretion. It is my body, my health, my balance, and my responsibility to make right choices for myself. Right choices include working with competent health-care professionals when necessary, allowing friends and family to help as needed, and, above all, being true to my beliefs, with the wisdom and willingness to change as part of the path of healing.
-Rosemary Gladstar
Dr Denoon's Approach
Dr. Karley Denoon is a pharmaceutical-prescribing Naturopathic Doctor who practices a truly integrative approach to healthcare. Grounded in both modern medical science and traditional medicine, she believes in the "AND" of medicine supporting foundational health, restoring physiological balance, and using medical interventions, including pharmaceuticals, when necessary. Her care philosophy is informed by the Wise Woman approach, a strong relationship with nature, and focus in using herbal medicine.
Dr. Denoon treats a broad range of conditions but specializes in supporting women through the menopausal transition. She is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP), a designation that reflects advanced knowledge and commitment to evidence-based care in this important stage of life. From early perimenopause to the Crone years, Dr. Denoon helps women navigate symptoms such as period changes, hot flashes, sleep disturbances, mood changes, and shifting cognition, with personalized plans that may include hormone therapy, botanical medicine, and lifestyle strategies.
Her consultations offer space for in-depth discussion, history taking, physical assessment, and lab review. Dr. Denoon takes time to create individualized, realistic recommendations, whether that includes pharmaceuticals, herbs, nutrition and lifestyle recommendations, supplements, or referrals to allied practitioners. You won’t encounter pseudoscience, surprise fees, or unattainable wellness plans - just grounded, respectful, and transparent care.
At the heart of her work is education. Dr. Denoon empowers patients to understand their health and make informed choices. She sees herself as an educator on your healthcare journey, there to walk alongside you, offering support while respecting that only you can change your life.
